Miksang
the Art of Contemplative Photography
Miksang, meaning Good Eye in tibetan language, is a structured way to look at reality that coordinates the mind and the eye.
When we can see with our Good Eye, the world is always fresh, because everything we see is as for the first time. There is no memory, no association, only the world manifesting to us.
Perceptions are vibrant and vivid, pulsating with life. We use the camera to catch these perceptions.
It is at the same time art, photography, and a support to any spiritual practice.
CLASSES
Miksang level 1 and level 2 are taught in Switzerland at various locations. A formal introduction will be held during the festival de la formation in september 2015, in Lausanne, Fribourg and Neuchâtel.
